The Malawi Freelance Course has started up again!

New from the Malawi Program

After a long period of quarantine and small group work (15 or less) in the Dzaleka camp, the government of Malawi yesterday authorized the reopening of educational institutions. We can recommence classes for all 49 participants ! The five local teachers trained by Konexio will welcome in five cohorts of participants divided by experience level. The goal of the freelancing courses is for our students to more quickly gain autonomy through online freelancing platforms.

The students are incredibly motivated! They are overcoming every obstacle, acquiring new digital skills and gaining financial independence. The goal defined by operating partner Jesuit Refugee Services (JRS) and Konexio is that students can work independently from now until the end of January 2021 to earn money to help improve their daily lives.
