Our story
Konexio was founded in 2016 by social entrepreneur Jean Guo, who sought to answer the social, cultural, and professional challenges faced by people traditionally excluded from economic opportunities and the tech sector.
Growing up in an immigrant household, she witnessed the difficulties her family encountered when they arrived in a new country. Jean created Konexio because she believed that digital upskilling has the transformative power to foster social and professional integration.
She aimed to provide free digital skills training to open up new opportunities for highly underserved talent in today’s economy. Guided by her vision of equity, social justice, and empowerment, Jean Guo built Konexio by foraging multi-sectoral partnerships with private and public partners, bringing together volunteers, trainers, and staff to make Konexio a reality.
Today, Konexio is recognized in France as a leader in the fight for digital inclusion, having helped thousands of people learn in-demand digital skills to build a career for themselves.
